I tried the St.Ives apricot scrub a couple times as a method to exfoliate my sebderm but after only 2 uses I had to throw this product away. It had a nice fragrance but that was pretty much the only redeeming quality. It caused my skin to redden and it irritated my whole face. I found the added exfoliants to be abrasive.
The trouble is, though, that they can work a little too well—which is why St. Ives Apricot Fresh Skin Scrub, a cult-favorite formula, faced a lawsuit back in 2017.
That is great it worked for you. From you description you used the Apricot Scrub as a mask type treatment. Very interesting. The only time I have used St. Ives Apricot Scrub was a few years ago as an actual scrub. I found the texture was to coarse and actually scratched my face. You have put a whole new usage to this St. Ives product. _____
